When Jurassic Park debuted 22 years ago, it became a sensation. Now in 2015, renowned executive director Steven Spielberg returns for the latest installment of the Jurassic Park series. Set to release on June 12th, Jurassic World stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard utilize Mercedes-Benz vehicles to survive the wild conditions of Jurassic World Park. Filming for the movie took place on NASA property in New Orleans, as well as Oahu in Hawaii. This adventurous film is a must-see for those who can’t stay away from the latest action-packed movies.
Mercedes-Benz and Universal Studios have a previous history of collaborating for the Jurassic Park series. The 1997 film The Lost World: Jurassic Park saw the debut of the then all-new ML-Class SUV that we have all come to know and love. Mercedes-Benz has used the same strategy to debut another all-new car in Jurassic World. The GLE Coupe will make its first public appearance in the new movie alongside the iconic G-Wagen SUV and Sprinter vans. Another vehicle to look out for in the movie is the limited-prouction G63 6X6, a 6-wheeled version of the G-Wagen. We are highly anticipating the release of the all-new GLE Coupe.
The GLE Coupe will also be available in a high-performance version, called the GLE 63 AMG. Mercedes-Benz has gone to unimaginable lengths to make the GLE63 one of, if not the best, performance SUV on the market. The GLE63 will sit at the top of the GLE-Class range, with the GLE400 expected to be the volume seller. Arriving later this fall, the GLE-Class is definitely expected to be one of 2015’s hottest rides.
