Jaguar I-PACEJaguar changed the face of electric automobiles yesterday at the Los Angeles Auto Show when it unveiled the I-PACE Concept Vehicle. The first ever all electric Jaguar: a concept for 2017 and a road burning all electric, 400 horsepower, 516-lb ft all wheel drive SUV like no other when it becomes available to the public as a 2018 model.

Unburdened by the present, Jaguar’s designers have brought forth a road going concept SUV that features not only performance on the road but luxury and a spacious interior. With all the power housed between the axles, and the ability to start with a clean sheet of paper, Jaguar produced a vehicle like no other.

Incorporating the smooth silhouette of a coupe in an SUV the design features sweeping lines, large wheels and muscular rear haunches. It brings together sports car aesthetics and an SUV presence.

The interior accentuates the unique design quality of this game changing Jaguar. Moving the driver forward it allowed for full five passenger comfort and 19 cubic feet of storage, to make sure it offered the space that is expected of an SUV. From that point the i-Pace offers a combination of the luxury and warmth of all Jaguars combined with the technology you would expect out of an industry leading electric automobile.
