A lot of vehicles are made up of compromises. Generally speaking, many cars will give up carrying capacity in exchange for performance. Likewise, others will give up acceleration in exchange for passenger or luggage space. So you wind upheaving to prioritize what is most important to you, and giving up something in exchange. Luckily, Mercedes has decided to roll out a car that checks every box at once, the GLA 45 AMG.
While the GLA 45 AMG is an SUV, don’t get hung up on the classification. When you think of SUV, you might think of something the size of an Escalade, but the Mercedes is more of a hot hatch than a truck. Think of it as the German version of a Subaru WRX STI. You get all wheel drive, a turbocharged four cylinder engine with 355 horsepower, a dual clutch transmission, and all of the Mercedes trim that you’ve come to love. Stuff all of that into a four dour hatchback, and you wind up with something that can handle whatever you can throw at it. From track days, to grocery runs, to taking the kids to soccer practice, the GLA 45 AMG is ready for it.
We are currently running a special lease rate on our GLA 45 AMG. $573 for 36 months, 10,000 miles per year. $3,500 total due at signing plus tax and license with a residual at lease end of $33,217.60 For that you get a panoramic sunroof, AMG performance exhaust (with the fun button to open the baffles), blind spot assist, USB and SD card ports, heated seats, and more.
